bowling with friends

I went “bowling” with the Boston Modern Quilt Guild!

Members leaned how to make bowls and baskets from cotton clothesline wrapped with strips of fabric. We started mid-morning — got our machines set up and the base coil started. After lunch we turned up the sides and learned finishing techniques.

Plus had wonderful conversations with old and new friends.
